Relationship Development Intervention | Speech Language Therapy | Essential Communication, Inc.

Communication skills grow when
therapists and family work
together

In the same way a plant needs water, sunlight and rich soil to grow tall and strong, a child needs opportunities to practice and explore new communication skills with supportive guides in a multitude of real world settings. Our experienced speech language pathologists help parents with special needs children learn how to model, guide and encourage the communication skills that their child is acquiring in therapy. A child's success in communicating in a variety of safe environments gives them confidence that will carryover in other aspects of the child's life, regardless of the impact of deficits caused by disorders such as apraxia, autism or Asperger's syndrome.
